JAM -20 - Boy does the time fly


I've moved on since last I posted.

I created some scenery in Blender and used the fbx exporter plugin to export single or groups of models this allows me to keep all the models in one .blend file as a kind of model library and then I can work on individual models as I need to. Exporting the model from blender places in right in the Unity project file structure so when I switch back to Unity the model is automatically updated.

Set up baked lighting - for improved performance

Set up light probes - to simulate real time lighting again this is performance related.

I added animated hands

Changed the teleport ray caster to work from the left hand thumbstick.

Added hinge and motor to the cell door so when the key is placed into the socket interactor the motor opens the door and activates the teleport area outside the cell.

I've also added some mocap to the guard robot as it's idle animation.
